How do I become a patient at Westview Orthodontics?
No referral is needed to become a patient at Westview Orthodontics. Simply contact us any time, and we can set up a complimentary consultation to get you started.
That being said, we would be happy to accept a referral! Your family dentist can help with a recommendation and with more information about your general dental health background. -
Where is Westview Orthodontics located?
Westview Orthodontics is located at 2609 Westview Dr., Suite 203, North Vancouver, BC V7N 4M2.
We are located in the medical building in the Westview shopping plaza.

How much does an initial consultation cost?
We provide complimentary, no-obligation consultations for first-time patients at our clinic. Contact us today to book an initial consultation.

What will happen during my first appointment?
During your first appointment at our North Vancouver orthodontic clinic, we will perform an oral examination and discuss any orthodontic conditions that are observed.
Additionally, we will discuss your orthodontic goals to determine what changes you would like to see for your teeth. If orthodontic treatment is recommended, we will outline the course of corrective treatment, benefits of orthodontics, and associated costs and length of treatment.
A referral from your dentist is not required, and there is no charge associated with this consultation.
In many cases, treatment can get started on the same day.

Do you offer payment plans or financing?
Yes! We offer zero-interest and low down payment plans through our office to help make orthodontic care affordable.

Can you help me with my insurance?
If you have orthodontic insurance coverage, we will provide you with the correct forms so that you may receive the maximum benefit.

Do you charge for missed or late appointments?
Our current policy is not to charge for missed or late appointments. However, depending on how late you arrive we may not be able to accommodate you and may need to reschedule your appointment. If you anticipate that you will be late, please call our office.

How should I prepare for my appointment?
There isn't much prep work involved in visiting us. However, we do ask that you brush your teeth thoroughly right before attending an appointment with us.

Should I cancel my appointment if I'm sick?
If the patient is unwell in any way, such as exhibiting cold or flu symptoms, please call our office, and we will happily reschedule the appointment.
We aim to provide orthodontic care in the healthiest and safest environment possible. Our patients' cooperation is essential in order for us to achieve this goal.

What do I do when I arrive?
When you arrive at our office, please check in with our front desk. This will notify our clinical staff that you have arrived and are ready for your appointment. After that, you are welcome to relax in our waiting room until our team is ready to begin treatment.

What languages do you speak in your clinic?
At Westview Orthodontics, we are able to provide services in English, Czech, Cantonese, and Serbian.

Can parents and siblings accompany patients?
Our waiting room is not large, and preference in our waiting room is always given to patients with scheduled appointments. If a parent is accompanying a child, please try to keep it to just one parent and no siblings whenever possible.

Are parents allowed in the treatment area?
There are certain appointments or procedures for which specific instructions may need to be given to the parent of a patient. This is the only time a parent will be asked to join us in the clinic area, as we aim to keep this space free for staff and patients to move around.
