Meet Dr. Lenore Louie
BSc (Hon), MSc, DMD, Cert. Ortho., FRCD(C)
Dr. Lenore Louie attended the University of British Columbia (UBC) for her undergraduate Bachelors of Science (Hon., 1997) and her Master of Science (2000) degrees, both in biochemistry. She continued her studies at UBC and graduated from dental school in 2004 (DMD). Dr. Louie practiced for two years as a general dentist before returning to university to obtain her graduate certificate in orthodontics (University of Las Vegas Nevada, 2008). Following the completion of her residency, she returned to the lower mainland to practice orthodontics. She has had the pleasure of working as an associate in a few different orthodontic practices, and opened her own office, which has provided her with an array of techniques and experiences. She joined Dr. Moonen in 2016 and they have been treating patients together since.
Dr. Louie was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of British Columbia for several years. She is an active member of the Canadian Association of Orthodontists, the British Columbia Society of Orthodontists, American Association of Orthodontists, and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. She is also a member of several study clubs and actively pursues continuing education to learn about the latest advancements in dentistry and orthodontics. This helps her provide patients with innovative and up to date treatment options.
Dr. Louie was born in Coquitlam and raised in the Lower Mainland. Away from orthodontics, she spends her time with her husband and three children, and giving back to the community. Her family enjoys numerous athletic and outdoor activities, but she particularly likes yoga and cycling. Dr. Louie especially loves to travel.
